Dear colleagues,

Passively waiting for the effervescent times as before pandemic to return – is nonsense because they will never return. However, believing in progress and looking ahead with the serenity that I gained through maturity of 30 years of experience in dentistry seems to be the only honourable solution. The initiative to promote and initiate this magazine is a way to promote my defence mechanisms but also to cope (a mechanism to face professional challenges) in writing. And if the classic public speeches have been replaced by webinars and zoom-links – myself, who has never excelled in public speeches because of a vicious excess of shyness – myself, as a medical journalist – I would rather prefer writing and inviting each of you for opinion and online writing.

The first number of this professional magazine in online format addresses especially some topics of interest in terms of time and space management of dental offices during the pandemic. Of course, you can say that official sources of documentation – whether governmental or national or international scientific forums – abound in the information. Correct! The problem is that most of the time this information must be structured and patiently decrypted by specialists.

To the question: What obligations does an employer have in case of identifying an employee being SARS-CO-VID 19 positive…? He answers us (not a dentist) but a lawyer with interdisciplinary thinking considering the topicality of the subject but also the complexity of deciphering it.

How can we optimize Pediatric Dentistry with the help of digitization…? An expert in digitization (not a dentist) will answer us.

To other questions such as: What kind of Dentistry is recommended to practice on pandemic…? How to manage ECC pet pandemic imp – I have assumed the responsibility to answer myself – by looking for solutions and recommendations for myself. All this – I gathered them in a pandemic essay!
